I started at this college in Atlanta, Georgia. Taking their Animal Care Specialist/ Vet Assistant program in 2007. It's a one year occ. and you can do it also online. It costs about $880 and you get a diploma when you graduate. They include your books, exams, online help, a student card, and shipping all in the price. I deffinatly would try this course out- especially if your an animal lover and you work at your own pace. They perfer you to complete within a year but you can take your time and complete it earlier if you want to. Also there's payment plans for those who don't want to pay the full price.
